Women Participation Program. The project on “Advocacy Campaign for elimination of discrimination against Women” funded by U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Counterpart International Women’s Participation Program in 2012 under the Clean World Public Union and the Citizens’ Labor Rights Protection League for Women’s NGO Coalition continues.
The next activities of the project, mainly is to support National Action Plan towards the elimination of domestic violence, to develop a range of mechanisms stipulated by the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, review of Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Gender Equality and a presperation of administrative and criminal prosecution of the person who committed the legal basis for liability. Moreover, as educational activities trainings in the regions will be organized and the video will be presented. At the end of 2014 National Conference will be held on “Prevention of domestic violence and early marriages”.
